About Us

We are a community-oriented independent pharmacy with two retail locations in Columbia, MO, one retail location in Ashland, MO, and a long term care pharmacy. We also operate the Missouri Kidney Program pharmacy, where we provide prescription services to the program’s patients throughout the state of Missouri. We are continually involved within community activities to help support our patients and provide opportunities for our employees to be active in the community as well.

From April through October, employees can also flex their gardening muscles at the Kilgore’s Community Garden.

Benefits for Full-Time Employees

Medical

Two plan options: a traditional PPO plan with a low deductible and copays —OR— a High Deductible Health Plan option where the Pharmacy contributes throughout the year into a Health Savings Account and also allows members to put back pre-tax dollars for health care expenses for the entire family.

The Pharmacy pays over 85% of the employee-only premiums, provides an additional wellness discount each year for employees and spouses, and offers reimbursement for gym memberships.

Dental

The Pharmacy pays 85% of the employee-only premium and provides excellent in-network and out-of-network benefits with 100% of preventive services covered. The plan even allows some of the employee’s unused benefit at the end of each year to roll over to the following year AND it covers adult and child orthodontics.

Vision

The plan covers annual exams, frames, lenses, and contacts with low cost copays with additional savings on sunglasses and laser eye surgery.

Life/AD&D

The Pharmacy pays 100% of a Basic Life and AD&D policy for all full-time employees. Employees can then elect additional voluntary life coverage for themselves, their spouses, and their children.

Long Term Disability

The Pharmacy pays 100% of the premium for a Long Term Disability (LTD) policy for all full-time employees. It covers part of the employee’s earnings after 90 days of a qualifying disability until Social Security retirement age.

Short Term Disability

A voluntary Short Term Disability policy is also available to cover part of the employee’s earnings prior to when the Long Term Disability benefit becomes effective.

Paid Time Off

Holiday Pay for the six major holidays the Pharmacy is closed each year.

Birthday Pay so employees can take off on their birthday or use it as an extra vacation day during the year.

Earned Time Off which combines personal, vacation, and sick time into a single and flexible benefit to better meet the needs of employees.
